 Calcium & Vitamin D Recommendations:

Calcium intake of 1,000–1,500 mg daily, preferably from diet (with 1,500–2,000 IU of vitamin D), is recommended for general health and to prevent bone loss and fractures. Consider how much calcium you get from your diet, and be sure not to exceed 1,500 mg total when adding supplements.
