What are the pros and cons of intermittent vs. continuous ADT?

This is a succinct commentary on a longer paper in the same issue. The surprising result is that there is a 31% lower risk of certain cardiovascular disease in prostate cancer patients, who go on continuous instead of intermittent ADT. This is based though on a retrospective survey of 636 patients and not a full randomized-clinical trial. The mechanism to account for this surprising and counter-intuitive results is not known, but definitely worth further analysis.
